TRUST
A man walked one day into a forest looking all around him as if seeking something. The Elder Trees noticed his interest and asked him what he was looking for. He replied that he was looked for a small strong branch from an ash tree for which he had intended a suitable purpose.
The Trees agreed amongst themselves that it was but a trivial request and they willingly consented to allow the man to take what he had requested.
The man took down the branch and thanking the trees, returned home. He shaped and fashioned the ash branch into a long handle and fitted it to his axe. He returned swiftly back to the same forest and began chopping away at the giant noble Oaks of the Forest which fell one by one to the ground under the strokes of his axe. His intention was to fashion the oak into planks with which to build a fine house.
The Trees quickly realised how foolish they had been – by agreeing to the small request, they had given away so much more than they had reasoned at the time.
And the Moral of the story is:
Nothing hurts someone more, than to realise they have caused their own misfortunes, by their own foolishness.

Recognise the Enemy
It is considered generous and righteous to forgive, to be kind and considerate of Others’ needs, to offer benevolence to those demonstrating vulnerable positions and to follow the teachings of religion to love thy enemies. But one would not be expected to feed an invading army or provide them with assistance to allow them to strengthen and consolidate their position over everything that you hold to heart. Establishing who exactly is your enemy has become harder to define when they become disguised in the positions and clothing of those already established within your own culture and community.
Enemy definition: One who opposes or is hostile to an idea or cause, who feels hatred toward or intends injury towards another. Often, the enemy does not exist until you are told by governmental authorities who they are and why they have become the enemy.
The man in the story is an enemy to the Trees, no matter how nice or pleasant he approached them, no matter how much he showed gratitude in exchange for his small request – his underlying intent was devious and meant to cause injury and devastation for personal gain. The nature of someone or something determines your reaction towards them. The same can be applied to any position taken by any member of society, whether parent, neighbour, employer, official or celebrity. However nice they may be wearing a public mask, what lies beneath the surface determines their true agenda. By their nature, their symbology and their actions, they will show themselves.
Path to Love
Love always follows the flow of conscious energy without resistance. Love demonstrates mutuality, benevolence, interest, expansion, rising and co-operation. Fifth Dimension requires the flow of Love between you and all things to become One. But that comes with the awareness that an open heart is a vulnerable heart, being kind and considerate is a natural way to behave but there are still many who would take advantage of someone’s generous nature to benefit themselves. Not all are where you are, not all are trustworthy or have adopted the same principles and virtues as your Self.
Path to Trust
Any single individual that takes an action or uses a position of power so as to hurt or manipulate those around them, is an enemy to those people no matter how pleasant they portray themselves or the relationship that exists between them. This is not a question of Love but one of trust. You can love snakes as much as you like, but that will not prevent them from biting you, if that is their nature. One cannot trust someone who proves themselves to be untrustworthy. One can certainly learn to forgive, but forgiveness is your own reaction to another’s action. It does not undo what has been done, but it does allow you to release the hold that those actions previously had over you. You can love a dear friend or a member of your family knowing that they conduct certain characteristics or behaviours that cannot be trusted. Loving someone does not mean ignoring or over-ridding unacceptable and unjustifiable behaviour. Lack of responsibility and accountability has consequences.
Recognise that the Path to Trust also requires the knowledge of when the non resistant conscious flow of Love proves beneficial and when to apply Trust to those who also demonstrate their actions as honourable, trustworthy with integrity. Whilst we are still within a period of transition, there are those who would not wish for you to hold Love within you for it is uncontrollable and unpredictable. They are not against you, they are against what you represent. What is against Love – is the Enemy of the People. Those who do not recognise or demonstrate Love in their actions and behaviours are an enemy of their own Souls. Many have not found a way to the Path of Love within themselves but irregardless, it still remains there within them yet to be found. Our role is not to save our enemies but not to fight them either. To fight your enemy, is to become the enemy of them by your own actions. To do as they do in response is to become an opposing enemy.
Protection
When you have spent time working on your self regarding your own issues, vulnerabilities, traumas and behavioural characteristics, then you will want to safeguard the Light you have spent time and effort growing and nurturing within you. It is not your role to attack or defend against those who are an Enemy to Love, but to protect what you have created for your Self and for those you love, that remain vulnerable and exposed to the enemy that is against Love.
Safeguarding and protection is an act of Love for those you care for – Attack and Defence is an act of War against the enemy.
Love, Power and Wisdom provide your eternal and internal guidance to your own behavioural responses and leads you to the Path to Harmony – but that is another story……
