Lightning DOES strike twice
I was caught in an electrical storm, one of many this time of year here in Thailand. Pink lightning illuminating the thick darkened cloud, the roar of wind through the palm trees and a heavy persistent downpour of warm rain quickly flooding the ground and forming many flowing rivers in the roads.
The next thing I knew, I was in a bubble of intense white light completely removing my view of everything around me. I slammed on the brakes to the Moped and stopped abruptly by the side of the road. Even through the heavy rain, I could still see the effects of fire burning in the air, and small bright flames snaking along tree branches and telephone lines, the smell of ozone filled my nostrils. The instant vibration of a loud roaring sound like a base trumpet or tuba, unique in its resonance was ringing in my ears. I was shaking like a leaf and could feel electrified energy pulsing in waves through my body. It was a Lighning strike less than two metres away from me.
Within, seconds, another intense flash of white light appeared and Time itself ground to a halt as I was able to watch the Lightning spiralling around its target, a single telephone pole two metres from me, one amongst many – but just happened to be the one I was next to when it struck again. This time a pressure wave of energy passed straight through me, a crackling luminescence penetrating and lighting up every part of me from within. A liquid plasma of intense white light identical to that moment in 2009 when the Kundalini rose up my spine and pierced the crown, opening up and through the top of my head. Flashes of coloured light all around me left me temporarily blinded and stunned, as if caught in a camera’s flash bulb, only a million times brighter. Once again, the boom of a trumpet / tuba resounded, this time longer than before so I could feel every movement of the sound vibrating my whole body on a cellular level. An electrifying experience – the Language of Light in its most intensive and impressive manifestation.
In the Vedic understandings, blue skies represent a clear pathway ahead with the sun shining its blessing upon all that is provided along the way. With each cloud that appears, problems and issues can be reflected upon, resolved and released to allow the clouds just to drift by.
When storm clouds appear, this represents unrest, turbulence, worries, sorrow and afflictions of the clouded mind. Living with your head in the clouds shows a lack of responsibility, detachment from reality and a world of mind delusion of self-created beliefs.
The sound of thunder brings us back down to Earth again as it shakes the ground beneath us to focus on the tasks ahead, the voice of Source using the power of sound contains an awakening call. Lightning brings the brilliant white light of illumination, awakening and self-realization revealing knowledge and wisdom to the clouded mind.
The Lightning divides the sky piercing the darkened clouds of the mind causing them to release the heavy rain they carry as a sudden downpour, an emotional reset to bring fertility and abundance to bare Life once again.
