Riding out into the desert lands surrounding St Pedro de Atacama in Chile, there were very few opportunities for finding the rounded river rocks I favour for use in the balances.  A dry river bed and a mud brick wall provided the setting for several of the balances. The telluric currents of energy that flowed across the lands took me, via horseback, to more elevated heights of Pukara de Quitor, 12th Century Stone Fortress overlooking the dry river valleys below. Sunset spent at Mirador de Kari, Piedra del Coyote overlooking the Valley of the Moon.
